Still Life paintings

I think that still life Paintings are quite different from any sort of landscape or portrait painting. Why? You may ask. We are always surrounded by simple objects that are intertwined with our daily life: that could be a cup of coffee, a plate, or even a sandwich. This may sound absurd or even uninteresting, but think about what happens when you see an object that helps you remember someone you loved or a place you hold dear in your heart. What did you experience? That feeling is called nostalgia.‍ ‍Nostalgia is proof that you lived a life worth remembering.
